Famine + Smolov Jr Results

Today I was surprised to hear my name on Super Human Radio. The question I asked Rob about Famine was discussed, as well as Smolov Jr. Rob said concerning Smolov, "I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole." Consider yourself warned, it is not for everyone. Behold, I am become Smolov, the de...

I just figured that adding it to a ready-made transdermal cream would save some hassle. I'll let everyone know how it turns out. Rob - Have you noticed any bennies from the progesterone cream? Subjectively, I seem to be experiencing some increased recovery, but I was cycling down from Smolov Jr when...

Not training to failure = winning. It took me a long time to come around to this, having strong buy-in on the typical gym brah wisdom. Oh, the wasted years............ oh well. More gainz in the last few months of avoiding failure than I saw in the 6-12 months prior.

After 2 weeks of dosing, I can't really say that I notice anything discernible. I have another tub on the way, and I plan on mixing in some DHEA into this 2nd tub, per Rob's topical DHEA protocol to hopefully complement the progesterone. Rob - How much DHEA should I mix into a 4oz tub? Not really go...

I mix in 1 teaspoon of glycerine and 1 teaspoon of glutamine into my morning shake, which my trainer has me drinking every morning and post workout on high carb days... Shake is as follows: 1 Cup oatmeal 1 Cup Berries(Blue/Straw/Rasp, etc) 1/2 Frozen Banana 1 Handful Raw Spinach 1 TBSP Raw Honey 1 ...

I once took 1.5-2 grams of Yohimbe, not yohimbine HCL. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. My whole body was red, I was SUPER hot, and sweating like mad. I had to get in the shower several times to cool myself off. My eyes were bloodshot like they have never been. I was up all night, swe...

My progesterone cream arrived today, Source Naturals as suggested by Matter. It goes on smooth, and seems to absorb pretty quickly. Not at all greasy. Smells like turtle wax rubbing compound........... not sure if that qualifies as pleasant, but it doesn't smell overtly feminine or bad, so I am than...

Rob - I am a platinum member of your site, or maybe gold. I will comb back through the old BP Bulletins and find that article. Speaking of programming, any movement on Shawn Phillips re-releasing his calculator? I recall hearing you rave about this, and I believe you were in contact with him about it?

It's easier than it sounds, and there are a couple different approaches that make sense to me. If following a more conventional routine, simply stop doing reps when you know you have 2-3 left in the tank. That's PLENTY enough to stimulate muscle growth. Secondly, if you are using a loading pattern, ...

I also have some progesterone on the way, ordered today the Source Naturals as recommended by Matter. I think it would be interesting to mix some DHEA into the ready made topical cream. If indeed progesterone is complementary to testosterone, as the literature suggests, one may possibly be persuaded...

Rob -

How do you think this would pair with the topical DHEA protocol you recommend?

Thanks man, that's really all I was looking for. I am going to order some up soon. How would you rate your recovery abilities while using progesterone?

Any updates? Very interested to see how this is going for anyone who is taking progesterone long term. Would also appreciated more specific guidance on dose, timing, cream or oil, topical vs oral, etc.
