The Academy Awards

Post by MADMAX »

I'm not thinking he has a real chance at winning with the Hollywood politics, but I'm pulling for Mickey Rourke as "Randy The Ram" in The Wrestler for Best Male Lead and Marissa as supporting.

They will likely shun Gran Torino too, but it is deserving of awards as well.

Did you happen to see that the guy who played a steroid dealer in the movie..... just got busted for steroids!?! Yes, it's true. Tried running down a few cops in the process!

Not a big award show guy, there's way too many of them these days. It's getting to the point where we're going to have and award show for the best award shows.

But yeah, I'll be pulling for Rourke. He nailed the wrestling drama to a tee.

Poor Mickey didn't win. Shame really.

I don't like the award shows either, 'cept the golden globes. Love those globes. Luv em'

I love his movie, The Wrestler. It's one of his best film for me. Anyways, we'll be seeing more of him on other films :)

He's the bad guy in the upcoming Iron Man 2, as well as in the Stallone movie The Expendables which has just about every living movie tough guy sans Clint Eastwood in it.
