What about the milk/almonds? I thought protein was discouraged?

I try to keep protein under 30gms a day in my fast. You dont have to drink milk or eat almonds but at those small servings there isn't a ton of protein

Is there a certain carb number on famine

You WANT carbs during Famine. They should make up the majority of your diet, in fact.

Not sure where I went wrong but many have interpreted Famine = "low carb". Not true. Not by a longshot...

Hope that helps. If you need more guidance, I've PM'd you my cell phone #. Happy to answer any and all questions!! :)

In blueprint 2.0 "dietary observations - famine phase #3" you mention low carb as an option to help people manage hunger. is this not ideal then? I would prefer low carb but if high carb works better I will do that.
