Nitro Pro - Reformulated

Post by RobRegish »

Just got a bottle in, excited to give it a try. I remember the original, straight Arginine Alpha Keto Glutarate pill. This still uses AAKG, but layers in beet root juice powder, olive leaf extract, grape seed an pomegranate extracts too.

Anyone here tried the new formula, and if so - what were your impressions?

I'll be putting it to the test today..

I like it, I dont follow the advice of not using other aminos with it though. Increased vascularity and endurance but my bf is very low. I felt there wasnt much point in going to 2 scoops.

Have only used it once but did notice a discernable effect. I looked a hell of a lot more vascular. Will give it another few weeks before final review. It does seem exceptionally well thought out (using whole food/extract nitrate sources), vs. just amino bonded to nitrate molecules.

Great to hear the positive reviews, especially from you guys.

Used consistently, it has a definite building effect that increases with time.

The reformulation has nearly doubled the following of the original Nitro AKG, which was wildly popular itself and actually pre-dated NO2 as some folks know.

For those looking for more information, here's the official link to super premium Nitro PRO- https://www.NitroSports.net
The technological breakthrough of A-AKG

Enter state-of-the-art A-AKG (Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate) which is not only extremely well tolerated by the body, but has such a vastly superior uptake and retention profile that it makes plain L-Arginine seem akin to a 1973 Ford Pinto in comparison to a new, fully loaded sport Mustang. While A-AKG is the foundation of NITRO PRO's powerful effects, of perhaps greater importance is its specialized delivery system. The highly effective Nitro AKG® Enhancement Extracts spark and extend uptake of A-AKG maximally, while also (and this is key) literally forcing your body to SUSTAIN and REGENERATE the powerful hemodilation effects around the clock, ongoing.

And the results?

As alluded earlier, used as directed (easy to follow, detailed instructions included) the potent effects of NITRO PRO are extremely wide reaching and very noticeable. This Super Premium formula incorporates breakthrough research which maximizes supplemental Nitric Oxide (NO), plus additionally helps the body produce more NO naturally while best utilizing, sustaining and regenerating all forms. Best of all, the powerful NITRO PRO formula is devoid of the negative side-effects seen with anabolic steroids, clenbuterol, Viagra and other common drug based performance and physique enhancers.

One thing to note, I did notice benefits of this when stacked with nitrates that arent from whole food sources. A theory I have is that it is like the vit c in say an orange, its quite clearly not just the total vitamin c in the orange but the bioflavnoids etc enhancing its effect. I think nitrates, and whatever else is in say beet root and other stuff in nitro pro is enhancing this to a similar effect.

You have picked up on what we unearthed, Cookie, exactly.

Of the few in this industry who do attempt to produce effective products, most try turn FOOD supplements into isolates, trying to make them more drug like.

We have always approached it from the opposite end of the (full) spectrum, instead concentrating as highly as possible ALL actives while preserving natures perfect balance and her crucial co-factors.

It has served us and our reputation for results oriented products very well, if I do say so myself.

This might be a worthwhile addition for anyone interested in experimenting:

Its been shown in multiple studies that Citrulline is a better booster of NO than Arginine because Arginine gets eaten up by the small intestines whereas Citrulline passes through them before getting converted into Arginine by the body

However, another study suggests the greatest effect is achieved when both are used together:

True, and I've used copious amounts of both. Favorite L-Citrulline "supplement"? Watermelon!

You eat half or even a whole watermelon before training and I GUARANTEE you'll have the best pump of your life, LOL. Here's what I did recently, to get the best of both worlds:

- 1 scoop Nitro Pro
- Ate half a watermelon

Good God, felt like I was going to explode. I understand what you're saying about citrulline being time released arginine, but the beet root juice, olive leaf extract, pomegrate etc that's been added does a nice job extending the NO release, IMO. I do prefer Arginine AKG to citrulline for the following reasons:

Is a precursor of nitric oxide (NO)
Promotes circulation resulting in improved blood flow
Stimulates the release of growth hormone
Improves immune function
Reduces healing time of injuries
Plays a role in the formation of bone and tendons
Increases muscle mass, while reducing body fat
Supports male fertility, improving sperm production and motility
Reduces risk of blood clots and stroke
Supports normal blood pressure
Improves vascular function for patients with angina
Helps recovery after heart attack
Helps reduce growth of cancerous tumors

In fact, Arginine has so many benefits to list entire books have been written about it. You do want the alpha-ketoglutarate form though, as it's MUCH better absorbed than straight arginine salts.

My $.05... :)[/b]

Rob,

I tried your Nitro Pro AKG w/ half a small watermelon combo the other day before a training ride and it was outstanding!

It may be too much for everyday training, but will now be a go-to for me before big rides/events.

Once again, you are right on the spot and I love such combos that combine the best of fresh fruits and serious supplementation.

I'm going to have them add this to the listings at https://bodybuildingsupplements.com/protein-recipes.html

Watermelon is extremely high in L-Citrulline so you could get the same effects from taking straight L-Citrulline or even Citrulline Malate, but prefer the free-form version personally...
