Consuming enough calories

Post by mpalcis »

Please cut me some slack this is my first time posting.

Rob,
You had given a recipe for a weight gaining shake on SHR some time back can you share that again here?
I have changed up my diet to grass feed beef, organic pork & chicken and vegies. Seems like eating this healthy stuff I just can’t eat enough calories in a day. Any other ideas would be appreciated. I should mention I am 44 and 6’1” and I have dropped a couple LB’s over the past few weeks. Currently doing a 5x5 - bench press, squat, deadlift etc.. Two to three times a week.

You might consider adding some olive oil, coconut oil, nuts, and/or almond butter (yummy) to your diet. Those fat calories add up pretty quick.

Apples and almond butter are one of my favorite snacks.
